Calistoga Market

November 11th, 2019 by Bill Moseley

Opportunity seems to be presenting itself in the Calistoga Market. Sales over last year are down 23.8% mainly due to the mix of properties. One would think that with the increase in Hotel Businesses startups that value would be up. Well the opportunity here is that properties under $1,000,000 should be in demand either as […]

Vineyards and Wineries in the Napa Valley

October 17th, 2019 by Bill Moseley

I viewed some raw land the other day that had some vineyard potential. It seemed like a real deal with other vineyards in the area getting $7000-$8000/ton of grapes. The properties I saw all had water. I know with the current glut of grapes vineyard sales have slowed, but what a great time to buy […]

October 26th, 2018 by Bill Moseley

The sales activity in St. Helena through the third quarter of 2018 had the number of sales down by 11% over the previous year.  The total sales volume was up 6% which means fewer sales at higher prices.  I believe that the market has slowed and will continue to do so.  We can’t keep raising […]

January 9th, 2018 by Bill Moseley

St. Helena sales in 2017 were down 16% compared to 2016. The average sales price was up 4.5% . Meaning fewer homes sold at a higher price. A variety of factors can influence the numbers; the mix of properties being offered for sale, the location, the condition of the property, and a host of other […]
